Jonathan Kuhlman has represented clients in the defense of state and federal court litigation in the areas of products liability, toxic tort, and general negligence. He has served as national coordinating counsel in the defense of complex tort claims arising from asbestos exposure involving multiple parties and multiple jurisdictions, including the selection and management of local counsel.
Since joining the firm in 2001, Mr. Kuhlman has been involved in litigation, regulatory, and legislative proceedings in the area of tobacco products. He has extensive experience investigating and counseling clients on scientific and medical issues arising in the litigation and regulatory contexts. In addition, Mr. Kuhlman has specific expertise in identifying and preparing highly qualified scientific and medical experts, from the U.S. and abroad, to assist in litigation.
